Good Tuesday Morning Cali

Good morning Janine and all my cali buds.

Not much on my agenda for today.....I have to make a Target run to print up some pictures and get some kitty litter then maybe lunch with a friend.

yesterday I at least made it to the pool for some exercise and a little sun but all in all it was a pretty lazy day....I did get all the holes patched in the wall so now it is ready to paint....maybe tomorrow since I have NO PLANS - that is my goal...to get it done this week.

So - every one have a great day .

Diane - you know I am thinking of you as you go into surgery....you are a tough cookie and are gonna do great.

Good Morning.

Time for me to go under the knife again. I bet they have one with my name on it.  Anyway, I can't wait to get back home today, please no emails till I say ok.  I will try and get on line and leave a note or two but typing with one hand will be very frustrating.

Nothing much on tap my way - just the usual;  work, class, hubby, kids, figuring out how to eat right, making time to exercise, making sure I drink tha****er, don't forget the vits/mins, did I get all my protein in?, Oh shucks...how many carbs is in that?  .....just regular post op stuff

Didn't get up with the alarm this morning in time for my 5:30 workout (DANG IT )...Now I have that hanging over my head....gotta find time to get that in today......oh well.

 I'M NOT DOING MUCH OF ANYTHING BUT SARAH SITTING AFTER SHE COMES HOME FROM HER DR. APPT. SHE WAS BORN WITH A HUGE STRAWBERRY MARK I GUESS YOU WOULD CALL IT AND IT IS ALSO RAISED UP ABOUT 1/2 INCH AND BETWEEN THE SIZE OF A QUARTER AND A HALF DOLLAR.

THE DR SAID IT WOULD START TO  LIGHTEN UP AND GO AWAY BY THE AGE OF 2 AND IT IS LIGHTER NO SO TERRIBLE RED AND PURPLE. BUT SHE IS COMPLAINING OF IT HURTING HER. SO MOM AND DAD ARE TAKING HER IN TO SEE IF SHE IS COMPLAINING ABOUT HER BACK HURTING BECAUSE OF THAT OR BECAUSE EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE COMPLAINS OF THEIR BACK HURTING FROM TIME TO TIME AND THEN SOME. LOL.

I'M HOPING SHE'S JUST A LITTE SMARTY PANTS (WHICH I KNOW SHE IS) AND IS TRYING TO BE LIKE GRANDMA AND POPPY AND MOMMY AND DADDY. LOL

WHEN SHE WAS BORN THEY SAID IT WAS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT, BUT SEEMS SHE WAS BORN XMAS EVE INSTEAD OF ON VALENTINES DAY LIKE SHE WAS SUPPOSE TO BE, GRANDMA WORRIES ABOUT EVERYTHING WITH HER.
 
HECK THEY SAID SHE WOULD BE BEHIND OTHERS FOR A FEW YEARS ... NOT!!! SHE IS 2 1/2 AND SPEAKS VERY GOOD ENGLISH AND SPANISH.. NONE OF US ARE HISPANIC...LOL SHE LOVES DORA THE EXPLORER AND LEARNS IT FROM THERE AND SESAME STREET. SHE KNOWS HER NUMBERS AND COLORS AND HAD TO SHOW GRANDMA HOW TO USE THE MICROWAVE THE OTHER DAY. SHE PUTS THE TV ON HER PROGRAMS AND USES THE REMOTE LIKE A PRO.
 
SHE IS POTTY TRAINED AND LOVES ALL THE UNDERPANTIES GRANDMA BUYS AND PICKS OUT THE CLOTHS SHE WANTS TO WEAR EACH DAY. HECK SHE HAS BETTER FASHION SENSE THEN I DO AT TIMES.


AND SO MANY MORE THINGS THAT A LITTLE GIRL HER AGE DOESN'T DO SHE DOES. SO AS FAR AS BEING BEHIND KIDS HER AGE... WELL THEY CHANGED THEIR MINDS ON THAT. LOL

OK WELL FOR SOMEONE THAT HAD NOTHING TO SAY I SURE DID RUN OFF AT THE MOUTH AS USUAL.

Good Morning California.

Wishing all of you well Diane with your surgery and Liz.  Days are getting close.  My kids call it sleeps.  So I have  3 sleeps and then surgery.  It was funny the kids are exited for my surgery but not because I am going to be a svelt mom,  It is because I went shopping and bought tons of good stuff for them to eat while I am recouperating.  Only thing they can't get to it until I leave on Friday a.m.!  lol.  I had to buy a ton of Frozen stuff they like because my husband can't cook, or at least not anything another human would want to eat.  My oldest son is here also to help out, and he about burnt the kitchen down making scrambled eggs.  Funny but men seem to think that meat alone is a meal?  I don't get that. They forget the veggies, the salad etc.  I am getting a bit nervous about this and 2nd guessing everything, but Lord knows I want to have this done and I want to get to my goal as quickly as possible.  I am so focused right now, I feel like I am the Star quarterback and this is the game of all games.  So exited may be a better word.  WEll I am all over the place right now so I should stop.  You all have a happy Tuesday!  Enjoy and Do something nice for yourself today!

Morning!!

Today will be the first day of "Operation clean up" in the house. LOL  Not that I live in a pig sty, but things need to be picked up- laundry done, dusting (DAMN the dust!!) and overall spring cleaning.  Want everything looking nice for when Mike gets home. 

I am still in a little bit of a state of shock that he is on his way home, to be honest.  I keep thinking that the rug is going to be pulled out from under me. However, I got emails from him that said he was all checked out, the email addy he had will no longer be in service and he is getting ready to go.  So, I guess it IS happening!!

Oh, both my girls are in this play that they are putting on the base.  A twist of Little Mermaid, I guess.  Anyway, they are pretty excited about that and will have rehearsals every day this week and two performances on Saturday (theyjust signed up YESTERDAY!!).  The way kids learn things, though, I am quite sure that it will go off without a hitch. 

Well, need to get moving and get my younger daughter to another theater program they are offering this morning.

Hello Cali,

Not a whole lot going on today with me.
After work, I plan to go home, eat, change clothes and go out to Long Beach for some bike riding.  I had meant to do that last night, but then my friend called and my schedule changed alittle.  I rode my bike, but for only 3.16 mile (RT) in the neighborhood.

Good Morning Janine and Cali

So sorry to be MIA for so long.  At first I was prepari ng for my families arrival and then praying for their departure.  Unfortunately my sister manages to raise some of the sickest kids on the planet and yep she brought my niece here with a cold who promptly hacked all over our house and gave me Jordyn and my mom her cold. (my sister still claims she was not sick).  I can't tell you how hard it was to look at my baby girl with her first cold and unable to do anything for her. Me either for that matter (breast feeding).  So we spent the last week sleeping it off.  I am fine now and Jordyn has just a small amount of congestion left.  I have missed ya.  I know I probably missed lots of news and will try to be around more.
